Pre-Courses
Pre-courses are designed to offer attendees an immersive, hands-on experience, focusing on a wide range of topics relevant to general internal medicine, with a particular focus on the SGIM27 theme: SGIM @ 50: Honoring Our Legacy, Shaping the Future of GIM. The pre-courses will be scheduled for Wednesday, May 5, 2027.
Pre-courses are sessions that delve more deeply into an important research method, teaching, or clinical topic relevant to the general internist or address several related aspects of a single topic. Pre-course selection will favor submissions that take full advantage of the longer teaching format and combine a variety of teaching modalities, especially interactive and “hands-on” experiences. Pre-courses should be stand-alone educational events of interest to current SGIM members and/or healthcare professionals who may attend the SGIM meeting.
