SGIM Awards
Each year, SGIM honors exceptional contributions to the profession with prestigious awards and grants, celebrating achievements from the previous year. SGIM’s annual awards and grants represent the highest honors the Society bestows. Members are invited to nominate themselves or colleagues who have made significant contributions to the field. The awards and grants presented in 2026 will recognize accomplishments and contributions made in 2025.

National Young Scholars Program
This scholarship program is designed to give SGIM's medical student and resident members the opportunity to attend SGIM's premier annual meeting and to develop educational and leadership skills in the field of GIM.
Investing in GIM Membership Program
SGIM offers a trainee program that provides 65 1st year Fellows with an SGIM complimentary associate membership for one year. Throughout 2026, they will have access to all the SGIM member benefits of our lifelong learning community, including career development tools, events/meetings, publications, and mentoring and networking opportunities.
